Compositing node
LUT
Applies a color lookup table to your image by wiring in a second texture as the LUT reference — the same underlying idea colorists use for film-stock emulation, driven from an image input rather than a loaded file.

What it does
LUT is a compositing node: it layers, masks and routes pictures. It takes picture in and gives picture out.
Try it
Wire a strip-LUT texture into your final Render 3D pass for a consistent, repeatable grade.
Inputs and outputs
Inputs
- picture input
- picture input 2
Outputs
- picture out
Controls
Every control with a range can be driven by a modulator, a note, an audio level or a sketch.
| Control | Range or options | Default |
|---|---|---|
| lut size | 2 to 64 | 16 |
| mix | 0 to 1 | 1 |
Example patch
This patch wires LUT to what it needs and shows the result. Download it, then use File, Open in Infinite, or read it here: it is plain text.
