Superellipse

A squircle: a shape that lives between a rectangle and an ellipse. Inner Ratio tunes how square or how round it feels, the same silhouette you see on app icons.

The Superellipse node in Infinite, showing its controls and output.

What it does

Superellipse is a source node: it makes a picture from nothing, so it sits at the start of a visual chain. It has no input and gives picture out, so it starts a chain.

Try it

Sweep Inner Ratio with an LFO to morph a circle into a rounded square and back.
