Synths node

Wave Terrain

Turns any 2D image or video texture into a "terrain" surface and reads audio by tracing a closed orbit across it — Circle, Lissajous, Lemniscate, Spiral, or Scanline — with full unison, an amp envelope, and a multi-mode filter.

What it does

Wave Terrain is a synth: it turns notes into sound. It takes picture and notes in and gives audio out.

Try it

Feed a slowly-animating Reaction Diffusion texture in and let scan speed drift the orbit for an evolving drone.
