Audio effects node

Spec Blur

A streaming phase vocoder that smears the spectrum over time. Sharp hits dissolve into a harmonic cloud, with tilt, phase diffusion and freeze controls. It adds 42.7 ms of delay, and its mix defaults to fully wet.

What it does

Spec Blur is an audio effect: it changes the sound that flows through it. It takes audio in and gives audio out.

Try it

Freeze a held chord and let it hang as a pad while you play over the top.
