Effects node

Gaussian Blur

Two separate blur nodes for smoothing an image out — soft focus, depth-of-field, or just taking the edge off something too sharp. Often used right before a Bloom to make the glow itself feel softer.

The Gaussian Blur node in Infinite, showing its inputs, controls and outputs.

What it does

Gaussian Blur is an image effect: it changes the picture that flows through it. It takes picture in and gives picture out.

Try it

Blur at a low radius before Bloom for a dreamy, filmic haze instead of a harsh glow.
