Predictive Notes node: controls, inputs and a free patch

Predictive Notes

Wire a note chain in and press Learn. It listens (passing the notes through), learns pitches, rhythm, lengths and velocities, then plays on its own in that style. Stray at the bottom replays the phrase, the middle plays in character, and the top ignores what it learned and picks freely. What it learned is saved with the patch.

What it does

Predictive Notes is a prediction node: it guesses where a value or a phrase goes next and drifts around that guess. It takes notes in and gives notes out.

Play a short phrase, press Learn, and let it improvise a variation.

Controls

Every control with a range can be driven by a modulator, a note, an audio level or a sketch.
