3D node

HDRI

Loads an equirectangular HDR/EXR image and hands it to Render 3D as a real image-based environment, replacing the built-in sky gradient. Exposes intensity and a rotation so you can dial in brightness and spin where reflections and light come from.

What it does

HDRI is a 3D node: it builds, changes or lights geometry that Render 3D turns into a picture. It has no input and gives environment out, so it starts a chain.

Try it

Load an HDRI of a sunset and slowly animate its rotation to sweep studio-quality reflections across a metallic object.
