Modulators node
Envelope
Applies a classic ADSR contour to a continuous modulation signal rather than a note trigger — the "gate" is derived from the input crossing a threshold rather than a note-on/off.

What it does
Envelope is a modulator: it makes a moving value that can drive any control on the canvas. It takes control signal in and gives control signal out.
Try it
Feed a slow LFO in to get a rhythmic swell-and-release pulse instead of a raw sine wave.

Controls
Every control with a range can be driven by a modulator, a note, an audio level or a sketch.
| Control | Range or options | Default |
|---|---|---|
| attack | 0 to 4000 | 10 |
| decay | 0 to 4000 | 200 |
| sustain | 0 to 1 | 0.600000024 |
| release | 0 to 4000 | 400 |
| input | 0 to 1 | 0.5 |
| threshold | 0 to 1 | 0.5 |
| output | centred, ADSR | 1 |
| hold | 0 to 4000 | 0 |
| attack curve | -1 to 1 | 0 |
| decay curve | -1 to 1 | 0.5 |
| release curve | -1 to 1 | 0.5 |
| per voice | on or off | off |
