3D node

Field Primitive

A pure generator: builds 3D point geometry entirely from your kernel, starting from a topology scaffold — points, a plane, a sphere, a torus — that your code then reshapes. Presets like Fibonacci Sphere, Spiral, and Torus Knot show what's possible from just a formula.

The Field Primitive node in Infinite, showing its controls and output.

What it does

Field Primitive is a 3D node: it builds, changes or lights geometry that Render 3D turns into a picture. It has no input and gives 3D shape out, so it starts a chain.

Try it

Start from the Fibonacci Sphere preset and instance small spheres on the result for an evenly-scattered point cloud.

Inputs and outputs

Inputs

  • None. It starts a chain.

Outputs

  • 3D shape out

Controls

Every control with a range can be driven by a modulator, a note, an audio level or a sketch.
