Compositing node

Viewport

Functionally identical to Null (a free pass-through, no processing) but drawn with a large canvas, so you can actually inspect the image at a given stage of a patch instead of judging it from a tiny thumbnail.

The Viewport node in Infinite, showing its inputs, controls and outputs.

What it does

Viewport is a compositing node: it layers, masks and routes pictures. It takes picture in and gives picture out.

Try it

Drop one mid-chain in a long effects stack to see exactly what the image looks like before the next step touches it.
