Source node

Slideshow

Steps through a folder of images on a beat interval, with an optional crossfade between them. Point it at a folder and it becomes a self-running photo reel locked to the tempo.

The Slideshow node in Infinite, showing its controls and output.

What it does

Slideshow is a source node: it makes a picture from nothing, so it sits at the start of a visual chain. It has no input and gives picture out, so it starts a chain.

Try it

Set the interval to one bar and turn the crossfade up for a slow, dreamy gallery.
